As I am already taking some simple steps to enter the industry, such as identifying HR email addresses and sending messages directly to HR, I have encountered multiple failures. What can I do to improve my success rate?

First of all, discuss this with your professor or tutor and seek their guidance on the steps to be taken. They will have industry contacts who may be able to help.

Secondly, just sending an email to someone is not going to be very successful, as you have found out. You need to do your research on the Types of Industry you are interested in for a start. Secondly, you need to construct a letter setting out what you want to achieve with this and seek their assistance, or at least some suggestions as to what you might do.

If you just send a two-line email asking to do an industry project, then they will just hit the delete button. You have to offer them something in return regarding this project. Identify a need, improve a process, etc. Make it worth their while to help you, as it will help them.

Can you please help me to identify an industry for presenting projects focused on a specific sector?
