An appointment letter should be drafted on an individual basis, and at most, you can use a similar format for appointment letters in the same category of employees. All employees in a particular company are not the same.
Steps to Terminate an Employee
In order to terminate an employee (assuming he is a workman under the ID Act), you have to find a reasonable ground to terminate him. Issue him a proper charge sheet/show cause, initiate a domestic enquiry, and based on the enquiry report, you can take action. Please note that the punishment should be proportionate to the gravity of the misconduct.
The use of a model format to terminate can create more legal problems in the future for the company. Each case should be dealt with individually and with utmost care.
