Feeling Overlooked at Work? How to Handle Being Passed Over for Tasks

Hi Seniors,

I need your suggestions for the following scenarios. If a company has employed a senior official who is assigning the tasks, and these tasks are assigned to everyone except the person who is interested and ready to do them. If that person requests assignments, they are told they will receive them, but they are not given any. This situation happened to my friend. How should one deal with such situations?

If an employee is assigned no tasks or too many tasks by the senior, does that mean that the employee has an issue?
