I would like to understand the Leave Policy specific to my company. My company is a Pharma company with a sales force of 200 across India. We have our Headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra, where 30 employees are working.

I would like to know which Act will be applicable to my setup for drafting the leave policy and where I can find the necessary information.

Since yours is a Pharma Company with a sales force of 200 employees, the Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976, and the SPE Rules, 1976 are applicable to your establishment. It is better to refer to Section 4 of the Act and Chapter II of the Rules. These sections provide all the details regarding the types of holidays and leave, their scales, sanction, clubbing of leave with holidays, etc., so you can draft your leave policy accordingly.
