Brother Eligible As Nominee For EPF & EPS Claims?

Hi Everyone,

I have a doubt regarding EPF & EPS Nominee. My employee has nominated his brother. Is the brother eligible to claim EPF & EPS in case of birth?

If under family details, he has no other family members other than a brother or sister, then it is valid. However, after his/her marriage, the option is open to revise and change online through UAN login.

Nominee can only claim compensation in case of death and make claims for reimbursement of medical expenses if the insured person is unable to do so themselves.

The nominee is not entitled to medical benefits for themselves.
