Yes, educational institutions are also under the coverage of ESIC and EPFO.

Dear member, please indicate in which state the said educational institution is situated. Educational institutions are covered/coverable under Section 1(5) of the ESI Act, 1948, for which the appropriate government is the State Government.

Please also specify whether the said educational institution is in the private sector or a government institute.
