Dear Rashmi,
As per your post, below are mentioned two conditions for leave adjustment:
1. On leave according to 5 days in a week working.
2. On leave according to 6 days in a week working.
1. According to 5 days in a week working, a person should have 2.5 days working before Saturday/Sunday leave, meaning 20 hours working in the week applicable to available hours, considering Sunday as a leave day. If the person has sufficient leave quota, i.e., EL for leave adjustment, then as per the law, the leave will be adjustable; otherwise, it will be deducted.
2. According to 6 days in a week working, a person should have 3 days working before Saturday/Sunday leave, meaning 24 hours working in the week applicable to available hours, considering Sunday as a leave day. If the person has sufficient leave quota, i.e., EL for leave adjustment, then as per the law, the leave will be adjustable; otherwise, it will be deducted.
3. Compensatory Off will be adjustable as per the company policy.
Hope this clarity above will help you.
Thanks & Regards,
