PF Eligibility Question: How Does It Work for Two Companies at the Same Address?

talk2man
Dear Sir,

I need to know about PF eligibility if one owner has formed two companies at the same address, and the total number of employees in both organizations exceeds 20.

If both the companies are formed under the same PAN card, then they would automatically be linked in all government departments.
Apex Management
Clubbing of two establishments always depends on certain checks such as ownership, funding, inter-nontransferability of employees, inter-dependability/survival of one unit without the other, manufacturing integrity, etc.

Simple logic is a single PAN. If both are established on a single PAN, then it is to be clubbed. Later on, the related or vested interests of the owners are taken into question for consideration.
