Can We Use One ESIC Code for Two Factories with Rotating Employees? Seeking Guidance

We have two factories that are 15 km apart in the same district. We have obtained one ESIC code under our Head Office, which is also in the same district. Kindly advise if we can continue with one code or if we need to obtain another sub-code. We are unable to get a sub-code as all the employees from both factories interchange their places of work within the two factories on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Please provide any relevant acts or official decisions regarding this matter if we can proceed with a single code.

To apply for a sub-code with an existing login, you need to submit the necessary documents online. Once submitted, a sub-code will be generated, allowing you to submit contributions centrally or branch-wise according to your preference.

There is no longer any requirement of sub-codes. With the smart cards available, employees can avail of medical facilities in any part of the country.

For units within the same state, in any case, you don't need to bother with setting up separate codes.

Can anybody advise me if the enterprise has only one PF registration, can we make contributions to one or more companies? If yes, how is this done?
