Am I Eligible to Claim My PF from a 5-Month Stint at AXIS BANK in 2015?

This is Shiva Prasad. I have a few doubts regarding the PF amount. I worked for AXIS BANK for 5 months in 2015 (May13-Oct14), and currently, I am not working for any company. Am I eligible for PF or not? Till today, I haven't taken any PF amount from AXIS. If I am eligible, how can I get that PF amount? Please reply to me.

Yes, you are eligible for PF. You may ask HR to do so. She will ask for a few documents like a crossed cheque of yours. Then, after 3 months from the last working day, the amount will be reflected in your account.

You can claim EPF amount only. Unless and until six months of service is completed, you cannot claim EPS amount.
