Is It Okay to Receive Relieving and Experience Letters via Email Instead of Letterhead?

priyanka Kumarii
Is it mandatory for him to provide a Relieving Letter and Experience Letter on the Company's Letterhead, or can the Relieving Letter and Experience Letter be given via email as well? It seems things are being shortened.

Experts, please advise.

It should be given on the organization's letterhead only. Email might be an option but not the perfect one.

Best wishes.

Experience Certificates are always given on the letterhead of the company, wherein the company certifies the employee who has worked with the said company for the mentioned period. Otherwise, it does not carry any worth or value.

It is inherent in the employer-employee relationship that the employee be given a relieving letter and an experience certificate upon his resignation or termination of the contract of service. More than mandatory, it is an ethical practice.

As per my knowledge, it is mandatory to provide a relieving and experience letter on the company's letterhead. We can send their scanned copies through email.
