How to Stop Annoying Promotional Calls: Easy "Do Not Disturb" Codes for Your Mobile Network

Hi All,

TRAI has introduced registration for "DO NOT DISTURB" for barring promotional calls. This would be of interest to all of us. Please see below the short codes of "Do Not Disturb" calls for the following networks:

1. IDEA: Type "DND" and SMS to 555.
2. Airtel: Type "START DND" and SMS to 121.
3. Hutch/Vodafone: Type "ACT DND" and SMS to 111.

I thought people are disturbed because of the unwanted calls, so I reached out to avoid that. But I think I need to research more to deactivate it. Hmmm, I will get back to you shortly.
