ESI Deduction Confusion: Has the Government Issued the Final Notification for the 21000 Limit?

Could anyone confirm whether ESI is to be deducted from 01.11.2016 up to 21000/- or not, and whether the final notification has come or not? We are still considering and deducting only up to 15000/- and waiting for the final notification from the Government. Please help us. Thanks.

Sir, it appears that so far the appropriate government, i.e., Central Govt., Ministry of Labour, has not issued the final notification regarding the enhancement of the wage ceiling under the ESI Act, 1948. Therefore, until and unless the final notification is published, compliance is required to be made as per the law as it exists at present. However, in order to be sure, I suggest staying in touch with the nearest office of ESIC on the above subject.
