Incorrect Relationship on UAN Card: How Can We Fix This Error?

Hi,

One of our employees' husband's name is showing as "Father's name" on the UAN Card. We have submitted it as the husband's name only in the missing details annexure. Could anyone please advise us on how to correct this?

This is a very common mistake. Wait for UAN version 2.0 where all data will be uploaded once again exactly as per Aadhaar card data.

In the new version, the relationship is still showing incorrectly. Aadhar status is displaying as verified, but this error has not been corrected. How can I update the relationship in the EPF website?

Shram Suvidha portal (LIN) should be activated and verified, and employees should be enrolled there as well. This will provide them with the option to rectify any errors that may arise.

Aadhar is verified by the employer only. The department has not yet started verification. They are expected to undertake it sometime at the end of February or in March. Every UAN card would get Aadhar-based data linked with UAN.
