Request for Advice on Termination and Relieving Letters

I was a working individual in an IT company and held a senior position. I was terminated by my employer for fraudulent activities, which I admitted to on the day of termination.

The fraudulent activity involved conducting interviews for candidates with fake experience, who were then selected. I accepted bribes from a few of them. No verification was done by HR, and he was also terminated for the same reason, along with the employees with fake credentials.

So far, neither I nor the terminated employees with fake experience have received any relieving or experience letters from management. It has been over two weeks since this occurred. When we contacted them, there was no proper response. We are unsure of their plans or if they will provide us with the letters.

I don't believe I caused any direct financial losses to the company, but they may argue that the work or skills of the fake resources were not up to the mark.

Please advise on how to handle this situation. I don't want anyone, including myself, to suffer further in their careers because of the mistake I made. My intention was only to help people find jobs, but it has led to the current situation for myself and others.

Sorry, but what you have committed is an offense under multiple counts of the Indian Penal Code.

1) Section 420 - Cheating your employer and taking a bribe provide a motive.
2) Section 468 - If you helped the candidates to create false documents or they carried and submitted false documents, your approval to that brings you into this section.
3) Section 470 - Forging Documents and Electronic Records.

So consult an advocate and see the website below for details on the above sections.
