If a woman employee working in the night shift, is there any government rule stating that transport pick and drop facility is compulsory in between 7PM to 5AM Please guide.
Under section 33(3) of Bombay Shops and Estab Act, All necessary steps must be taken for protection of women working beyond prescribed hours. So this is prescribed. See the website below for details on this act.
Women can't work after 9.30 pm. If you are IT /ITES company then you can engage women after fulfilling certain conditions. If you are not, you need to apply for it, but in all probability it will be rejected.
