Professional Tax & Tds Under TAMILNADU SHOP AND ESTABLISHMENT ACT?

I want to know how much professional tax and TDS should be collected under TAMILNADU SHOP AND ESTABLISHMENT ACT. And , I want to know whether professional tax is compulsory.

Pl understand, TN Shops & Estt. Act has nothing to do with Professional Tax.
Professional tax is collected by the corporation / municipality / panchayat office in which your establishment is located. There is no common PT slab in TN. The PT slab is different in all the places. Kindly visit your local corporation / municipality / panchayat office for details.
Professional tax is compulsory.
