As a good employer, a business-oriented company does not want to be perceived as degraded. We have a practice of issuing experience letters even after termination. If individuals approach us seeking an experience letter after termination, along with a resignation letter and a separate confirmation that they have received all dues and nothing remains unpaid, we provide them with an experience certificate. Employers also aim to avoid unnecessary controversies and conflicts. Therefore, it is beneficial to handle such situations calmly and support individuals who have not intentionally caused any harm or loss to the company.
Steps to Obtain an Experience Certificate
I strongly recommend that you personally meet with your immediate supervisor and the HR Head to request an experience certificate. You can offer to address any outstanding matters in exchange for the certificate. By taking these steps, you are likely to obtain the certificate without any negative consequences. Opting for an experience certificate over a termination letter is always preferable and beneficial.
