Stuck with EPF Withdrawal: How to Resolve Account Location Issues Without Employer Help?

I have been trying to withdraw my PF balance and submitted the UAN form at the Regional PF office in Hyderabad as I stay here. However, it has been returned to me stating that my PF account was opened in Bangalore by my employer. I have never been to Bangalore, and I don't know how to resolve this without my employer's help. I wanted to resolve this myself as I heard that going through my employer would take a very long time.

@welfare, offer the UAN number to your present employer for linking. You can opt for online transfer right now or later; it does not matter. Whatever is deposited in your old account will get credited to the new account automatically when the annual accounts are processed by the department.

When you get the office, search the office on the EPFindia portal for the postal address and contact details.
