Understanding PF Calculations: Can You Help Me Figure Out My Contribution?

I want an enquiry related to PF. Here are my details:
- Basic: 7000
- HRA: 3500
- Medical allowance: 1250
- Conveyance allowance: 1600
- Special allowance: 6450
- Total gross: 19800
- My PF amount is 1800.

I would like to know how to calculate my PF amount.

It seems your PF is deducted on ₹15,000 @ 12% = ₹1,800. Please refer to your payslip for more detailed breakups.

In the breakup details, ELIGIBLE EPF is mentioned, and the deduction is 12% as per EPF rules.

As per my view, PF wages have been calculated as (Gross - HRA), which is more than Rs. 15,000 in your case. So, they deducted 12% of Rs. 15,000 as PF (Rs. 1,800).
