Facing a 90-Day Notice but Need a Transfer for Family Health: Can I Withdraw My Resignation?

I am currently working in an MNC company. I asked for a transfer because of my health issues, but my RMG is not approving it. I resigned from my job 2 weeks ago, and my HR informed me that I need to serve a notice period of 90 days. Now, there is a serious health issue with my mother. Can I withdraw my resignation and request a transfer by submitting the reports of my mother's health issue? Can I do that?

You are free to withdraw your resignation. However, it's the option of the company whether to accept or not. Just because you want to remain does not mean the company wants you to stay.

Further, what is the guarantee that the company will agree to your transfer? It's better you speak to them first and find out whether they want you back and whether they will transfer you on the grounds of your mother's health. An outsider will not have the correct answer.

An employee can withdraw resignation at any time during the notice period.

Regarding a request for transfer, that depends on the discretion of the management to accept or not. It is better to try to convince the competent authority in person based on proof of your mother's illness and why you need to be with her.
