Minimum wages for central sphere has been revised due to escalation in respective V.D.A.'s. The Revised Wages are here under:
Unskilled - 374 / 312 / 250 (Area A,B,C respectively)
Semi Skilled - 414 / 353 / 293(Area A,B,C respectively)
Skilled - 456 / 414 / 353 (Area A,B,C respectively)
Highly Skilled - 495 / 456 / 414(Area A,B,C respectively)
For Mines Area, it is as here under:
Unskilled - 312 / 250 (Below Ground, Above Ground respectively)
Semi Skilled - 374 / 312 (Below Ground, Above Ground respectively)
Skilled - 436 / 374 (Below Ground, Above Ground respectively)
Highly Skilled - 495 / 436 (Below Ground, Above Ground respectively)

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said the "historic hike" in minimum wages to Rs 350/day is a step forward in transforming India and labour reforms. To appease trade unions, the government yesterday announced a 42 per cent increase in the minimum wages for unskilled non-agricultural workers to Rs 350 per day from the current Rs 246. Also, the government employees will be paid a wage bonus as per revised norms, for 2014-15 and 2015-16, a move that will entail a payout of Rs 1,920 crore.

घण्ट किया है रिवाईज ८ रुपये प्रति दिन का किया है इससे अच्छ की रिवाईज करते ही नही बहुत उम्मिद थी की करिबन १५,०००/- रुपये तो होती मगर १५० रुपये बडाकर करने मे किसके आच्छे दिन आयेगे घण्ट होगा विकास कोई है बताने वाला नही जबकि सम्विदा पर केंद्र सराकार मे कार्य करने वाले सराकारी अधिकारीयो से ज्यादा कार्य करते है उनकी तनखा तो १.५० लाख है जैब की सम्विदा कर्मी की १०% भी नही क्या किसी के पास है इसका जवाब या कोई देना भी नही चहेगा इसका जवाब.

I think the govt. Make fool and before strike the govt. Of india send several message to implement the minimum wage to rs.350. But after strike it return to the old practice and increase avery small amount. We don't expect the same.

But revised minimum wage is Rs.250/-. How can we consider that the minimum wage is 250 or 350 ? can any give the clarification on this matter.

Rs. 350 notification stands for direct employee of central govt or any PSU. It is not applied to any contractor's worker.
