Employment History and UAN: What Can Your New Employer Really See?

Is my last employment release date visible to my new employer through UAN? Also, please let me know which details the new employer can see using UAN.

Normally, no, but it appears blank. The system asks for UAM or old ID. When it's provided, the system fetches the data from their database and provides it to the best possible extent.

When the present employer feeds the data to the Form 11 electronically, it displays the member's name, DOB, DOJ/DOE, previous UAN, and asks to verify the same. Also, it asks to confirm the bank account and PAN/Aadhaar to auto-fill Form 13. However, DOE is absent in most cases as Form 10 submission is often not done by employers under ECR. So, it appears blank, and the present employer has to fill the same based on the physical Form 11 submitted.

To make sure, confirm on your own, log in to your UAN member portal with your UAN number allotted. Go to the profile page and check form 11. If the date of exit is appearing there, it will also be displayed on the new employer portal.

So, can the present employer see the date of leaving of the last organization or not? What is the full form of DOE?

Present employer will see the data "name/relation name/old UAN/Member ID/DOB/DOE" which is displayed in your own UAN member portal. Check form 11 from logging in UAN member portal. If anything is missing in form 11 that is not visible on the new employer's site, it may prevent the new employer from linking UAN with the present account.

If the previous employer has filed Form 10, then it will display:

DOE = Date of Exit.

I have left my previous organization 5 days ago, but still, DOE is not visible in UAN account. When will it be available there?

Date of exit will appear when your previous employer submits ECR of the month in which you left the job (i.e., Form 10 embedded with ECR).
