Bonus eligibility for new employee joined 6 months ago

Dear Friends, Please enlighten me on the following; An employee who has joined an organization on 21st March 2016, is he/ she eligible to get bonus declared for the year 2015-2016 as per the Bonus Act. Welcoming feedback on the same.

Dear Jnandi,
As per act employees need to work 30 days in the financial year from date of joining, i think they only eligible for bonus.
As per my knowledge , dear CITE HR expert clarify it pls................

He will not eligible to get bonus for particular FY 2015-16.
Because in any case he have worked only 11 days in that month and FY.
But If His Exgratia / Bonus are part of negotiated CTC, then you should pay that portion.
