Stuck Between a Contract and a Permanent Role: Should I Take the Offer with No Pay Raise?

anuja.pawar
Hi, I need guidance from all of you. I have been working with my current organization for 4 years on a contract basis. There is no possibility of being offered a permanent role in my current organization. My contract will be renewed in a couple of months. I have received an offer from a service-based organization with the same salary I am currently receiving for a permanent role. They are unwilling to increase the salary since I am already being paid above the current market rate.

Should I accept the current offer with the same CTC, or should I continue in my present organization?

Thanks

You have stated that the present company will not be making you permanent and that you have received an offer from another service-based organization. If salary is not the issue and if it is going to offer you permanent employment after probation, etc., you may think of joining the new company.

Check your motives first. Do you want secure employment or to continue with the same organization with no likelihood of becoming permanent?
