I interviewed at ICICI Bank through a consultancy on September 2, 2016. The interview was standard, and the next day, the consultancy requested my latest 3-month payslip, ID, address proof, and an undertaking from my side, which I provided. An ICICI HR personnel also requested the same documents from me. When I asked the HR representative about the status of my selection, they informed me that the process was just standard interview documentation and that I was not selected yet.

However, my consultancy is claiming that I have been selected and that ICICI will now check my profile, including my CIBIL score and address verification. After these formalities are completed, they say I will receive an offer letter in approximately two weeks. It's already been a week, and I'm still waiting for the offer letter or any status update.
