PF Withdrawal For Flat Purchase [Thread 569452]

Hi Experts,
Please suggest on my below condition:
- I had withdrawn PF some time back for purchasing plot
- I am now planning to withdraw PF for purchasing flat
- I was told that I can't withdraw for flat, as I had taken PF money for plot purchase and can only withdraw PF for constructing house on the plot purchased.
Can some one please suggest, whether I can go ahead and submit PF withdrawal form to withdraw money for Flat purchase.

Apologies for the inordinate delay in responding. I wasn't active in cite HR for quite sometime. As regards your query PF permits withdrawal once during service for purchase of plot thereafter you can seek only for construction in the same plot. If you intend purchasing a flat PF will look forward to your repayment of withdrawal made by you earlier for purchase of plot with interest. Sorry once again for the delayed response
