Curious About Your PF Account Details? Let's Decode Contributions and More!

Hi,

After several years, I have been informed about my PF number by my Employer's PF trust. My PF number is KN/BN/23371/35.

I would like to know my PF account details such as:

1. Contribution by the company in my account on a monthly basis.
2. Total amount deposited.
3. Present owner of the Company, since the company has been taken over.
4. What do 23371 & 35 stand for?

First of all, please clarify if the company has been a member of the centralized PF authority. If not, then you need to have a conversation with the concerned person in the trust for more details, as the records maintained shall not be in the PF Database.

If the company has been governed under the central PF, you may find the details as mentioned by our friend from I4best. Regarding the PF code, KN is the state name, BN is the city name, 23371 is the PF code for the company, and 35 is the PF code for you.

In reference to the total balance, you can give a missed call to [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons] and get an SMS alert for the total balance accumulated in your PF account.

As per the thread, you mentioned that your company has a PF Trust. If a PF trust is in place, you will not be able to access any PF balance from the RPFC portal. When you search on the PF portal under the establishment search, the company name will be linked to PF code number 23371. The number 35 could be your EPF number in the PF trust or an EPS number at the RPFC, assuming that the EPS is not exempted. Please verify your company details.
