Hi everyone,

Could you please help me with writing a holiday announcement email to all employees? Kindly provide a few email templates. Thank you.

It's an extra holiday announcement that is not mentioned in the Holiday List or a common announcement for a holiday. Please specify the name of the holiday and the occasion.

It's needless to send an email to everyone for any holiday, because all holidays are already displayed on the notice board of the factory. If you still want to inform the employees, you can do so verbally or by giving them best wishes for the respective holidays.

Always remember, as an HR/IR professional, you must think several times before sending any written messages to company employees, as it may be beneficial or harmful as well.

Holiday Notification Practices

Most companies display the holiday list on all company notice boards, with copies sent to all heads of departments in December or January for the information of all.

Similarly, there is a practice of posting a circular (with copies to all HODs) the day before the holiday so that both the HODs and employees are informed in advance to plan for the deployment of personnel for essential services on the holiday.

This practice is particularly recommended for manufacturing companies.
