One of the employees in our organization joined on 15-5-16 and passed away on 20-6-16, in June. The salary for the month of May was paid to him with PF deduction. Does his nominee have the eligibility to claim the PF after his death?
Yes. A nominee, as well as if he/she has kids, is then eligible for PF claims, EDLI, as well as the pension.
