PF Related [Thread 567604]

Hi Seniors,
We had two offices in India till last month. One in Bangalore and one in Delhi. Our Bangalore office is closed now. Everybody has been moved out from there to Delhi office. We have our PF Account in Bangalore. As office of bangalore is closed, so my question is should we have to apply for new pf no. or we can continue with the old one. The Bangalore office was our corporate office.

Do you have earlier any PF Registration for Delhi Branch? If yes, then you need to transfer all Bangalore employees PF here in (Delhi) branch.
On other hand you need to inform in written to PF office (Bangalore), Corporate office in no more running in Bangalore hence you would like to discontinue the membership of PF. Will maintain the PF account in Delhi Branch.
