How Can I Track Attendance and Productivity for Remote Employees Using Free Tools?

I have recently joined a startup in Crowd Funding. We have an employee who is working remotely from Delhi in Co-Spaces. I would like to request all of you to please advise me on how I can track her attendance and productivity on a daily basis. I am looking for free services.
