Employee Provident Fund (PF) Withdrawal and Transfer Guidelines Discussion

pradeepsbc
I have worked in an organization for 8 years and resigned a year back. My PF has not been transferred nor withdrawn.
I then worked with another company for 9 months (second company), and even that PF has not been transferred nor withdrawn.
Currently, I am working in a third company. In the UAN portal, I can see 3 PF numbers. My query is related to the withdrawal of the PF amount.
I have seen many articles on Google stating PF can be withdrawn after 5 years. Can you please suggest whether I can withdraw it? Are any taxes deducted upon withdrawal?

Hi,

Since you are currently employed, you cannot withdraw your PF. You can only transfer your PF from your first PF account and second PF account into your third current account. PF transfer is now available online. Visit the [Online Transfer Claim Portal](http://memberclaims.epfoservices.in/) and apply for PF transfer.

Pardeep ji,

As a contributor at present, you cannot withdraw your EPF. As suggested by Mr. ASRAJPOOT, go for transferring online through the OTCP portal.
