Struggling with Sabbatical Leave Eligibility: Can My Company Deny My Salary?

I just wanted to know about sabbatical leave, when it is applicable, and whether I am eligible for this kind of leave. I have completed one month and I took a holiday for 2 weeks. Now, my company told me that they will not provide me salary for this month. Please help me.
