An employee is getting a 11000 basic. He is eligible to get PF. When his basic salary increases from 11000 to 18000, what rules are applicable for the deduction of PF?
As the employee is already covered under EPF, even if the salary exceeds Rs. 15,000, they are still eligible for EPF. You can restrict both employee (EE) and employer (ER) contributions to Rs. 15,000.
