Deceased Employee Benefits and Claims: Insights on PF, EDLI, Gratuity, and Pension

I would like to know about an employee who expired on duty after serving 24 years of service. His wife also passed away, and his sons are above 21 years old. Please advise me regarding his claims for PF Employee contribution, Employer contribution, EDLI, Gratuity, etc.

His son will naturally receive the PF accumulations, EDLI, and gratuity. Additionally, he will receive a monthly orphan pension from the PF since both the member (father) and his wife are deceased.

What is accumulated pension and 8.67? Who are not eligible for a Pension?

Your deceased employee's son will get a pension with retrospective effect. Since the employee had put in 24 years of service, he is eligible for a pension.
