Confused About EPF Deductions: Does My Consolidated Salary Include Employer Contributions?

I have joined as a contract employee for an organization. In the offer letter, it was mentioned that my consolidated salary would be 30k per month. After the 1st payslip is generated, I can see that EPF is deducted as 12%. My question is, is that Employee PF or Employer PF contribution? Does the consolidated salary include Employer PF contribution as well? Please help.

Basically, consolidated salary means gross salary and does not include employer share. If it is CTC, then of course, yes.
