How to Correct an Incorrect Name in EPFO Records Submitted via Form 9?

Dear Concerned,

Could anyone suggest how to rectify the name in EPFO records if it has been incorrectly entered by the employer when submitting Form 9? Additionally, what documents need to be collected from the employee for this correction?

Duly signed request letter from the employer requesting a change of particulars such as Name, DOB, etc. (On letterhead) along with proof of documents such as PAN Card, Driving Licence, AADHAR copy, Passport, etc., duly signed by both the Employee and Employer shall be submitted to the respective PF office.
