padmajasivakumar
Hi, I am Padmaja, with 20 years of working experience. Currently, I am at home and looking for a change in my career and keep searching for a suitable opening in Coimbatore. I wanted to know more about HR and advice on procuring an HR degree.

Questions About HR Education Options

1. Is it fine if I complete a 6-month correspondence course on PGDHRM from any university?
2. Will correspondence courses be valued by recruiting organizations?
3. Should I opt for regular MBA degree classes with an HR specialty from reputed colleges in Coimbatore?

Kindly guide me.

Dear Ms. Padmaja,

You have not indicated your current field of work. Anyone can have a change in career at any stage. It depends on opportunities. Naturally, there will be questions about why you want to change. You should get ready to answer this question. In your present career, if you can get a chance to work in HR either full time or part-time, it will help. Consider the above before you pursue your study.
