Quitting Early: Will Joining a New Company Before Official Relieving Date Cause Issues?

Please help me with the query below. I am quitting my current company within 2 months of joining, and I am not concerned about the relieving letter or experience letter. I intend to join company X on 30th June, but my relieving date from my current company is 15th July. Will this cause any issues? Will company X be aware that I was employed in another company for 15 days before joining them?

Please go ahead. Hopefully at your X company, you will not have disclosed that you had worked prior for 2 months. It's absolutely okay; however, before leaving your current company, just inform them that you are resigning immediately and cannot wait until the 15th of July. There shouldn't be any problem. Please go ahead, but make sure to inform your previous company that you are resigning immediately, stating that you have some personal issues and need to leave town or for any other reason.

Assuming that you have already resigned, have you declared your 'Last Date of Working' in your resignation? If not, please send a registered letter to the HR, declaring it.

Anyhow, since you don't require any document from them, you may not follow up for an exit. Your declaration of your last date of working would remain valid. Hope this helps.

There is a lot of confusion over your relieving. Just to understand, have you signed any bond? If not, please just quit. The manager is just playing with you by saying after six months and serve your notice period. Please go ahead boldly. In life, nothing is guaranteed, so enjoy and please do what your heart says.

You should send a resignation letter with immediate effect stating that you are willing to pay the notice period and inquire about the preferred method of payment since you are unable to serve the notice period. Send this letter via registered post. Depending on the response from your company, the next course of action can be determined.
