Do We Need to File Half-Yearly ESI Returns if We're Already Making Online Payments?

We are registered in ESI and also making online ESI payments. Could you please tell me if we need to file half-yearly ESI returns or not?

1. I think that for those employers who are fulfilling online compliance, half-yearly returns are automatically generated online. Please familiarize yourself with the online procedure of ESIC.

2. However, I suggest that you confirm the position telephonically from the appropriate branch office of ESIC to which your unit is attached.

Half-yearly return is no longer required after the implementation of the online process.
