I have recently been recruited as an HR assistant in an IT company. Kindly let me know, as per the hierarchy, what is my position? Is it the same as an HR Executive, or is it different? Please inform me about the hierarchy and scope to start with as an HR Assistant. What are the further leadership roles I will progress through?

Hi, grades and positions vary from company to company. In general, the starting profile will be as an HR Executive, followed by a hierarchy such as Sr. Executive, HR Officer, Deputy/Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, etc. However, there is no fixed hierarchy in all companies.
