Please anyone provide me with a Bare Act of Tamilnadu Shops and Establishments Act,1947. I have a doubt whether this Act will apply to the persons working as agents in Direct To Home (DTH) service providers and sales representatives.

DTH employee is under a telecom company. i dont think it is covered under Shops and Establishments Act. However if the organisation is providing only DTH service. Then this act is applicable. As per TRAI telecom is a central act and it is covered under CLA (Contract Labour Act)
Those who are maintaining the attendance, salary register,company bank a/c and address of the office must come under this act and they should submit the all the Returns respectively on particular period. Confirm whether you have secured licence from the cocern dept.
