Do I Need a Separate Shops & Establishment License for Each Project Site? Seeking Guidance!

Dear Seniors,

I'm working with one of the construction companies based in Nashik, handling projects involving road and bridge construction, as well as power distribution projects on a PAN India basis. Since we are established in Nashik, we have obtained the Shops and Establishment Act License in Nashik.

My question is, do I need to acquire the Shops and Establishment Act License for different projects (site offices) where we are operating as well? Please guide!

Yes, Vishal, if the locations of your site offices fall within the geographical area of jurisdiction of the respective State Shops & Est. Acts, you have to get registration.

Thank you for your reply. However, my concern is that we have multiple site offices on a single project as the road stretch is between 80km to 120km. For convenience, we set up temporary offices after a particular distance. How can we obtain multiple Shops & Est. licenses for the same company?
