PF Deduction Dilemma: Should We Continue After Salary Exceeds 15000?

Hi all,

I have deducted the employee PF contribution for April 2016; however, after the salary increment, his basic salary exceeded 15000/-. Please suggest whether we need to deduct PF till 31/3/2017 or not.

Hi,

Once the employee becomes a member of the EPF, is it mandatory to contribute until his retirement? The contribution has to be continued even if the basic salary is above 15,000/-, but you can restrict the contribution to 15,000/- only.
