Choosing the Right Insurance for Employees Not Covered by ESI: What Are Your Suggestions?

According to my knowledge, the Workmen's Compensation Act covers all employees who are included under the ESI Scheme and those who are not covered (exceeding the ceiling limit). As we are an AAC Blocks Manufacturer, our unit is not covered by the ESI scheme. Kindly suggest which type of insurance would be a better option for our employees.

Workmen's Compensation Act, which is now called the Employee Compensation Act, covers only employees outside of ESIC. In any case, your unit is outside ESIC coverage, so the distinction is immaterial for you.
