New to HR: What Initiatives Can I Introduce to Impress Management?

I am Mohit Suri, working as an HR. It's been only 3 months and HR is new for me. I've settled down leave policies, salary slips, employee benefit plans, and also the recruitment part. Now, please suggest to me what new things I should introduce so that I can showcase my work to management.

Good work done, and that too without experience. Very creditable indeed. Now let the new things you have introduced settle down first. Any management would be happy with such positive change. Don't hurry up change. First, interact with all levels of the organization and seek opinions on what is lacking or what support they need from HR.

As a matter of fact, you should post in more detail what the system was before you joined and how you managed to introduce change in these vital areas. My suggestion is don't show your work, but let them see positive change and comment. Unhesitatingly give credit to those who guided you and supported your efforts in making changes. That way, you will get more strength and support. Work is teamwork.
