Hi,
There is proposal of increasing the maternity leave to 28 weeks from the central government.
Can u tell me when this may come into effect. I am working for a private company and I am 5 months carrying now.
Would like to know whether this proposal would help me in planning the leaves.

It has been released as a proposal, which is why few top firms have revamped the Maternity leave policy.
please check with your HR Team. They might be considering the same.
