Shilpi, A sarcastic derivateive from your story:
A chick was standing near the trunk of a tree staring at the top. A crow staying on the top of the tree told the chick "You too can fly and climb the tree like me. All you have to do is bring me two loaf of bread everyday and at the end of the year I will give you something with which you can climb the tree easily"
The chick believed this and worked for the crow for one full year. At the end of the year, the crow called up the chick, gave two pages of appreciation letter along with a box. The chick eagerly opened the box to see that "something" which will make it climb the tree.
Guess what was inside? Peanuts:o
