Dear Friends, I recently cleared the technical and HR rounds at Accenture, India. I have been asked by HR to fill out the EAF form. I have a foreign degree that is essential for the job. During the HR interview, I was asked how long the course was, and I mentioned it was a 16-month program (which the HR interviewer entered into the system). I had included both the class course and the internship. Later, I checked the transcript and found it stated the course was only 10 months, as it did not include the internship since I had already received the required credits for graduation. I am now planning to enter the correct date range in the EAF, along with copies of my degree and transcript (which are genuine), which will conflict with the data entered during the HR interview. Will this be a problem now?
Another issue is that on my resume, I mentioned the date range for the course from the 'class start month' to the 'graduation ceremony month,' which again differs from the transcript. Will these discrepancies be significant issues that might cause problems during an educational background check? Will I be allowed to provide an explanation?
Regards, Diya K
